ITS World Congress in Dubai – A Prime Venue for Networking

ITS World Congress is the leading industry event, attracting over 20,000 visitors from across the globe. It brings together professionals from the mobility, technology, and policy sectors to discuss and showcase advancements in intelligent mobility. This congress offers a unique opportunity to hear from industry leaders and gain insights that inspire the future of smart mobility.

ITS Latvia attended this significant event alongside with companies such as LMT, BISS, Lucidus, and Fan Apps. As ITS Latvia’s Mobility Project Manager Valts Murāns emphasizes, such trips are particularly valuable for companies because they provide opportunities to establish new contacts that would otherwise be unreachable, especially in the Middle East, where in-person meetings are even more crucial for establishing and maintaining relationships than in other regions.

As part of the congress, the Nordic+ Pavilion was opened, with the participation of Latvian ambassador to the UAE HE Dana Goldfinča. Nordic+ is a network of ITS associations from Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The chance to meet all in one place provides an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, build connections, and plan future collaborative projects. Moreover, it was also a great opportunity for ITS Latvia to meet with ITS organizations and representatives from India, Japan, and the United States.

The ITS World Congress in Dubai took place from September 16 to 20, 2024.
